Urban Campus continuously seek additional buildings to create new campuses in up-and-coming neighborhoods in the main European cities. Through partnerships with real estate investors, buildings can be acquired or let. The Business Development team will secure these buildings, negotiate attractive economic/legal terms and support the transformation into operational campuses.
The role of Head of Business Development is a demanding position with significant responsibilities and workload that required strong organization and negotiation skills. We therefore look for a highly talented and motivated individual with demonstrable experience and an established network on contacts. The position is based in Paris or Hamburg and will work very closely, and report, to Urban Campus's CEO.
Here is what will be expected from you, as a Head of Business Developement: Business development • Supervise the business development and project management teams in Europe (~12 people) • Identify negotiate and deliver new buildings to be operated by urban campuses. • Build strong relationships with developers, investors, landlords, brokers, municipalities and other real estate professionals. • Market Urban Campus to the real estate community. Opportunities analysis and asset modeling • Analyze opportunities to evaluate operational and financial viability • Run asset models for spaces under review/management. • Establish operational budgets, recommend improvements and provide creative solutions to close development deals • Refine strategy in collaboration with Urban Campus’ CEO • Prepare and present monthly activity reports. • Supervise negotiations development agreements (including legal documentation). • Monitor progress of development deals from identification to hand-over
